Aurora Dream Travels was created for families who want their holidays to feel exciting and achievable — not overwhelming.

I’m Catherine, a Leeds-based family travel specialist focusing on Disney holidays, Lapland trips, and solo parent shared holidays through SPARCLE.

Like many of the families I work with, I understand the mental load that comes with planning something big. I’m a solo parent, and I also parent neurodiverse children with ADHD and ASD. That experience shapes everything I do.

Holidays should feel magical — but they also need to feel realistic.

Why I Started Aurora Dream Travels

I’ve seen too many families either:

• Book DIY and realise too late they chose the wrong resort
• Follow TikTok itineraries that don’t suit their child
• Overspend in the wrong areas
• Or feel pressured into booking something that doesn’t actually match their dream

And I’ve also seen travel agents sell “what’s on offer” instead of what’s right.

That never sat comfortably with me.

Aurora Dream Travels exists to bridge that gap — helping families plan properly, intentionally, and often for the same price (or better) than booking alone.

As a Disney travel planner in the UK, I help families choose the right dates, resorts, ticket options, and pacing — whether that’s a 2-night Disneyland Paris stay or a 14-night Orlando split with Universal.

Lapland Family Holidays

Lapland is magical, but it isn’t one-size-fits-all. I guide families through what’s genuinely worth it, what to expect, and how to make it feel special rather than rushed.

SPARCLE – Solo Parent Shared Holidays

SPARCLE (Solo Parent Adventures, Reassurance, Connections & Lasting Empowerment) was created to give solo parents an option that feels lighter. Families book individually but travel knowing other solo parents are there too. No forced interaction. Just reassurance.

While I can book a wide range of family holidays, these are the areas where I bring the most depth and experience.
